Library Director reported in this week’s O’Fallon Weekly that the Library will participate in the Parks Department’s last movie of the season, Friday, Oct. 6. Before the movie Moana begins at dark, the Library will have some giveaways for the kids and a Moana-themed photo booth.
It’s a perfect time to get or renew your library card. Just bring a photo ID and something to verify your address such as a utility bill.
Molly also announced a guess-the-weight of the pumpkin in the Kid’s Place contest. The person who comes closest without going over will win a fun Halloween children’s book and some delicious treats Russell Stover candy.
The Library welcomes new employee, Edward Gillman. Edward will lead several programs including Boards and Builds Science Club for children in 2nd grade and up. It meets on the second and fourth Mondays at 4:30 PM and always begins with a scientific concept and includes fun hands-on activities. Registration is not required, but you can sign up for an email reminder on our website.
