In the O’Fallon Weekly this week, circulation manager, Michael King announced the upcoming Friends of the Library Blowout Book-Sale, Thursday, May 11, at 2PM, and runs through Monday, May 15, during regular library hours. Michael said there are thousands of gently used books, DVDs, audio book CDs, and children’s books available at unbeatable prices. In addition, there will be specials posted throughout the sale.
As part of your spring cleaning, you may discover items you would like to donate. If you gather more than you can comfortably carry, let a staff member know and we can help bring them in during business hours. We kindly ask that you please do not place them in the bookdrop. The Friends of the LIbrary thank you for all of your support.
And if you missed the first session of Crock-pot Creations, you can attend the next tasty hour featuring Italian Beef, chips, and dessert. You can bring recipes to swap and learn from the cooking demonstrations tips to let your crock-pot save you a lot of trouble. You don’t have to cook or prepare anything, but you do have to register by clicking here or calling (618) 632-3783.
And we’re reminding you of the presentation Bee’s Wax and Honey: Great Gifts to Mankind by Jim Harper, Chief Beekeeper of the O’Fallon Garden Club and Illinois Master
