Kate Wexell of Troop 520G is collecting items as part of her Eagle Scout Project. Her book drive will run from January 5 until January 28. There is a large collection bin near the vending machines on O’Fallon Public Library’s first floor.

Items Kate is collecting for the book drive include:

— New and gently used books, newborn children’s books, beginner reader books, children’s chapter books, young adult fiction, puzzle books and coloring books

— Stuffed animals

— Small toys

— Tote bags
