One of the features of the library that is always changing is our displays. We have three main displays. The first is our largest display which features three shelves. You will find it across from the bubble wall. Next, is our round display shelf in the center of our marketplace area. Our newest display area is our slat wall display that is found right next to the elevator on the second floor.
Each display is presented for 2 months, we like to give patrons ample time to peruse what we have to offer. The topics are always changing and that gives us all a chance to try something new.
For January/February, our large display features Books to Movies. Sharon, in circulation, has put together an awesome array of titles that started out as books and were so good they re-interpreted them as movies.
Categories featured on this display are Classics, Action, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Mystery & Suspense, and Drama. Along with the books and movies, there are plenty of audiobooks to choose from.
Included in all the fun are movie ticket bookmarks that you are welcome to take with you. There is also a “guess the movie quote” contest that you may enter that could result in an awesome prize!
