Captured by a giant!

The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It’s lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, the Fleshlumpeater, the Bonecruncher, or any of the other giants-rather than the BFG-she would have soon become breakfast.

When Sophie hears that they are flush-bunking off in England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

Roald Dahl carries us away in a tale of adventure again. For lovers of his other books such as Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or for those new to his storytelling. This book is sure to capture audiences of all ages!

When you are finished reading it, head over to the library to check out a copy of the new movie based on this beloved classic.

I adored this book as a child! I haven’t seen the film yet though (although part of me doesn’t want to because I want to don’t want to change my memory of this book).
