In case you missed the O’Fallon Public Library column in last week’s O’Fallon Weekly, here are some of the highlights.
On the education front, Adult Services Director Ryan Johnson wanted to remind students of all ages of our many resources. Beginning with the homework help link through the library website – no need to be present to win! But if you’re having trouble logging on from home come see us at the library, and we’ll help you get started.

Knowing that many students have been assigned research projects, Ryan wrote, “We can show you how to limit your results to get just the information you are looking for. Writing a paper and agonizing over formatting? Many of the resources feature built-in citation tools to save your time and hassle!”
And maybe you didn’t know, that with your O’Fallon Library card you have FREE access to otherwise pricey publications and web services, including:
- Consumer Reports, to help you make informed choices for large (and small) purchases
- Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest for genealogy research
- Morningstar, a leading investment resource, to track stocks and mutual fund
Through our online calendar or pick up a newsletter at the Library. Be sure to register, as space for these events is limited. Or, sign up for an electronic version delivered each month to your email. Sign up on the Library’s homepage!
